How Many Porta Potty Rentals Do You Need For Your Site?

When considering the logistics of the event you are planning, don’t forget to think about porta potty rentals. You might or might not need them, but you certainly don’t want to do without if they are necessary. I’m going to tell you a funny story that will make you think twice about leaving guests, workers or anyone without a bathroom. These porta potties are great for construction sites, special events and all kinds of situations. 

Just yesterday, I took off walking down the beach to go to the pier. Upon making it to the pier, I realized I had to go to the bathroom. When I wrapped around to the pier entrance, it was closed. You see, a hurricane took part of the pier last year, and so they don’t have it open to the public. I figured it had been reopened, but that’s not the case. There are plenty of resorts nearby, so I started to look for the closest place to go to the bathroom, even asking someone where that might be. 

While I was given directions, they turned out to be a little difficult to discern. Needless to say, by that point, I had to go to the bathroom really bad. Without getting too graphic, I ended up on a back path in the sand behind the bushes when I couldn’t hold it anymore. There it went, #1 all over my shorts. Granted, it happened quickly, and I went on my merry way, no one the wiser. People do go to the bathroom in the ocean, but you get my frustration. 

I had just arrived at my destination, and I couldn’t find a bathroom. I planned on feeding the birds at the pier, and I planned on laying out in the sun. About an hour later, I had to go again. I didn’t even try to find the closest facility. I just turned over in the sand and went. I had drunk a lot of water before I left, and had iced coffee with me, so it just was bound to happen. Next time I go on such a trip, I will explore my bathroom options better. 

I have been on a trip to the pier before, and I have never had to worry about that. It was one of those things, and needless to say, there aren’t any porta potties around on this beach. It’s all bathroom access at resorts that you have to look for. What you don’t want to happen is there be a situation where your workers or guests for that matter don’t have a place to go to the bathroom. 

My story might have sounded extreme and unfortunate, but I was actually blessed to be in a place where going to the bathroom on accident wasn’t a problem. It can happen in much worse situations, so be careful not to allow that to happen.
